MY SECRET TO A GENKI LIFE:
As a young girl I was tall and loved acting and modelling. I found in high school my height made me stand out and sometimes girls would get jealous so I started to “make myself feel small so others could feel tall.”
I founded Sacred Places Yoga, an International Retreats company 7 years ago and through the path of yoga and meditation, fully embraced my height and the motto:
Don’t make yourself feel small so others can feel tall
– Nelson Mandela.
I’ve been pretty much been teaching others how to do the same ever since through Yoga, Retreats and The Modern Goddess – a weekly group of women that meet to empower each other through yoga / manifesting rituals / meditation / nutrition / fitness and loads of self love. Together we peel back the layers stopping us from being our authentic selves and shining!
So if you don’t like your job, change it. If you want something, dream big and it will be yours. Shine, the world really is your oyster when you realise your own potential.
I love my role as a reiki master and teaching others the ability to switch on the light of their own inner healer. The mind / body connection is very real and I’ve been living that after picking up Louise Hay and Wayne Dyer books as a teen.
Your mind plays the most powerful role in your physical health and ability to master your dreams.
I am big on community as I grew up in a small country town. I love holding charities to raise awareness around issues like homelessness and the fight to prevent and help cure cancer.
This is ultimately my goal. To keep showing up in an authentic way to help the world be a more peaceful place and help people realise their truth and ability to shine.
