MY SECRET TO A GENKI LIFE:
By being kind to myself and practicing self-love every day. Over the years, I’ve learned that self-love is not selfish, it’s necessary in order to live a happy, healthy, and fulfilled life. I choose to surround myself around positive, loving, and inspiring people while eliminating negativity from my life. I practice yoga, mindfulness, and meditate to feed my spirit and soul. I nourish my body with fresh, organic, whole foods to keep me healthy and strong. I use clean / green skincare and beauty products on my skin to limit toxicity in my body. I take time for myself to relax and unwind whenever I need a moment to myself.
While self-love is important, I recognize the need to balance it with work, friends and family, and my three adorable Chihuahuas. I make sure that I spend enough quality time with my hubby and devote at least one date night a week with him. I carve out time to spend with friends and family. I also ensure that I give my furbabies lots of love, cuddles, and playtime.
Balance in all of these things is how I find harmony in mind, body, and spirit; and is key in living my best life.
